Haven Burnham-on-Sea

Burnham-on-Sea is located in Somerset, a wonderfully beautiful area of the country and the park itself has an impressive 4.5 stars out of 5. Some of the facilities you and your family will enjoy whilst visiting include a climbing wall, rope course, fishing lakes, tennis courts and pedalos. All these are perfect for families that love the outdoors. You are also close to the beach and have access to two swimming pools, play parks, amusement centres and pool tables.

You get to choose from four accommodation types, starting with standard, which has everything you need and going up to platinum which is full of little luxuries to make your stay more comfortable including a veranda and priority check-in.

If you’re looking for days out then there are a few attraction super close by including a cider farm, animal farm adventure park and Brean leisure park all within just 5 miles. Travel a little further afield and you’ve got Cheddar Cave and Gorge and Clevedon Pier within 20 miles. Check out this stunning park today and start looking forward to your next family trip.

Haven Hafan Y Mor

We’re in Wales next and Haven’s Hafan Y Mor park which has recently expanded and improved. The dining facilities at this park are second to none with 9 dining outlets including the Coast House bar and grill, a pizza deck and even a cakery. You can work up an appetite for all this food by exploring the dragon lakes adventure village or the aerial adventure course. You also have a choice of swimming pool and water slide, 9 outdoor park areas, amusement arcade and indoor play area, multi weather sports court, a climbing wall and direct beach access.

Again there are four levels of accommodation from standard to platinum depending on how much luxury and space your family requires. The Standard option is a little cosy but features everything you could need for your stay. Go one up and opt for a deluxe caravan which is 12 foot long, giving you much more living space.

If you feel like going off-site and exploring this part of the country then attractions nearby include Dwyfor Ranch Rabbit Farm and Animal Park and Pwllheli Beach within 4 miles. Welsh Highland Heritage Railway and Harlech Castle within 20 miles. There is something to please every member of the family both big and small.

Haven Thorpe Park

As you might have guessed Haven Thorpe Park is located in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire right near to the theme park that it was named after. This suburb location makes this park a draw for thrill-seekers of all ages. It has a 4.4-star rating out of 5 and tons of facilities on site. These include an outdoor pool with lazy river and space bowl flume, climbing wall, zip wire, fishing lakes, 9-hole golf course, family pitch and putt as well as dining areas and playgrounds. You sure won’t run out of things to do. The beach is also nearby and easily accessible via scenic sandy paths.

The usual 4 types of accommodation are available, we’d recommend the Prestige accommodation which tends to be larger and includes little luxuries like an extra toilet and TV in the master bedroom. Saying that the standard accommodation includes everything you could need.

Round the corner as we’ve already mentioned you have Thorpe Park as well as Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, Cleethorpes Seaside town all within 2 miles. A little further away but still within 20 miles, you’ll discover Lincolnshire Wolds and Rushmoor Country Park which are both areas of outstanding beauty and captivating nature hotspots. This park delivers the perfect balance between getting closer to nature and adrenalin-fuelled fun at one of the countries favourite theme parks.

These 3 parks are all very well-reviewed and in parts of the UK that are often overlooked in favour of more popular holiday spots such as Devon and Cornwall. If you’re not keen on any of these parks there are so many more to choose from on the Breakfree Holidays website. Many are situated along the UKs 7 ½ thousand miles of coastline. Some are nestled within the lake and peek districts surrounded by national parks and stunning views and some are hidden away in the highland hills where there are some spectacular walking routes.
