This 'antique' midi dress is a little more alternative with its bright floral pattern and asymmetric outline and we love that. The print is bold and feminine and the long sleeves and high neckline ensure you won’t get too cold but that you’ll still appear ready to eat drink and be merry. This dress from Oasis perfectly combined lace and little black dress to create a sophisticated little black lace dress and we think any lady will look fabulous on their Christmas party in it. The floral lace on the arms, shoulders and chest allows you to show some skin whilst still keeping an air of modestly plus it has some gold threads running through it to make it most festive.

Dorothy Perkins - Maternity Black Sequin Midi Skater

We had to add a maternity dress in for the pregnant ladies. There is nothing worse than being up the duff on a night out where everyone is drinking and being silly so it helps you feel better if you find a dress you love. This dress is the same as the Dorothy Perkins one we choose for dress two of this but if possible we love it more when it’s been altered to flow over a baby bump.

We also love the navy blue colour which is not typical of this time of year. The length is elegant while the fabric gives a feeling of luxury. We’ve gone for a splash of colour with this dress from Miss Selfridge. The mid-length with a slit up the side is super stylish while the elbow-length sleeves will stop you feeling a chill. We love the soft satin-like fabric cute bow design on the front. This dress is now only £29.50 in the sale down from £49 so you’ll be getting a bargain.

Quiz - Mustard and Black Animal Print Wrap Midi Dress

We’ve gone a real wild card with this choice. Another Quiz offering this mustard and black cheetah print dress and fun and flirty and certainly not what anyone will be expecting for the festive works party bash. We also love the frill trim and wrap front, go full cool chick and team it with a leather jacket and pair of funky boots. It’s a bargain at only £30.
