Best Christmas Pyjamas For The Whole Family

Christmas nightwear is one of the great joys of this festive season. Who doesn’t love getting snug by the fire watching a Christmas movie and drinking hot chocolate in their special Christmas themed pyjamas?

There is such a huge choice available this year from almost any retailer that sells pyjamas, so much so that it is difficult to even choose. A really big thing in the past few years has been family matching nightwear with a set for each member of the family. This means that when searching you’ll often find versions for mummy, daddy children and sometimes even grandparents and aunties.

Our first item is the best family set that we’ve found. They come from Matalan and are Peppa Pig themed which his guaranteed to make them a success with the little ones. Each member of Peppa’s family has a do to list which is printed on the pyjamas.

Mummy and Daddy Pig, for example, have to leave out mince pies for Santa, wrap the presents, and decorate the Christmas tree whilst Peppa and George need to write a letter to Santa, build a snowman and leave a carrot out for the reindeers.

Our first ladies Christmas pyjama choice of the night is this adorable fleecy elf inspired nightdress from George at Asda. Kids will love it when mummy comes downstairs dressed as one of Santa’s little helpers and we’re sure daddy would secretly be pretty chuffed too.

It features long sleeves and a large hood for a warm and cosy feeling and looks like you could have come right from Santa’s grotto. For chilly nights we’d recommend a pair of leggings and some slipper boots so you stay snug. It is also a bargain at only £12.

Red Grinch Christmas Pyjama Set

The Grinch is one of the best Christmas movies that has ever been made, it’s outstanding and shares an important Christmas message as well as being entertaining. These Grinch inspired pyjamas from New Look are a great choice for any Grinch lover. The currently have a fiver off and are only £14.99.

The t-shirt top depicts the classic Grinch grin with the words “Holiday Face On” around it. The bottoms have a cuffed leg to keep the heat in and are covered in candy canes, bows and the same Grinch face.

Our first men’s set is from M&S and they do come with matching pairs for both children and mums if you’d like. We love a slogan tee and this Snooze first, presents later message speaks to our soul. We also love the cuffed bottoms with a bright candy cane pattern that feels very elf-like.

Another bonus to this set is that they are made of pure 100% sustainably sourced cotton so they are good for the environment as well as being fun and festive. They are priced at just £15 which is very reasonable. The mini-me versions are between £10 and £16.

Red Men's Matching Family Pudding Pyjamas

We head on over to Next for our next Men’s set and again we’ve found a set of pyjamas with matching set for the whole family. We love these pudding PJs featuring a father pudding on the front with the phrase “More Pudding”. Long sleeves on the top keep you warm and the cuffed leg also keeps you toasty.

These will cost you £25 at Next right now. They are made of super-soft cotton for a super comfortable sleep. We also love the Christmas puddings that are decorating the bottoms. Search for the whole today.

Disney Frozen Kids Unisex Olaf Family Christmas Pyjamas

Christmas wouldn’t be here without kids in Frozen pyjamas, especially with the second one now being out in cinemas. We love this unisex pair from Very. They feature everyone’s favourite character on the front, Olaf as well as the pun “Snow much fun” the bottoms have a delightful snowy pattern across them.

They are priced at just £12, which is a steal and are available in ages 4 to 10. Again you can find matching items for both mum and dad meaning when Christmas eve finally arrives you can all settle down to enjoy the masterpiece that is Frozen in your matching Frozen pyjamas.

Christmas Mini-Me Santa Red Pyjamas

Last up in this list of fabulously festive nightwear is this baby Santa outfit. Available from TU at Sainsbury’s this cute Santa pyjama set is only £8. The bottoms are long, cosy and plain with just a red colour and the top is long-sleeved also with a Santa jacket pattern on the front.

You have big black buttons going down the front with a gold clasped thick black belt and a cheeky candy cane which hangs out of one of the pockets. This is available in sizes 0 to 24 months and is made from pure cotton so you can only imagine how cute your babies will look. Matching outfits are available so the whole family can get involved.
