Tom Joules was the inspiration for the company that bears his name. He originally toured equestrian and farm shows across the UK to sell outdoor gear to the people that attended them.
His moment of revelation came when he realised that the clothing and accessories he was selling were dark and uninspiring, and that outdoor folk might appreciate a bit more colour. This led to him producing one hundred pairs of pink wellington boots and when he saw the demand for them was there, it was the birth of Joules.
The company now operates from an online store and more than 70 retail outlets across the UK to sell its products, and they are just as colourful as ever. It has grown from its origins as an outdoor gear retailer and now has a wide variety of clothing and accessories for men, women, and kids.
This still includes plenty of outdoor pieces, with some of these including wellies, waterproof coats, gilets, and hats. The company continues to attend country shows and festivals for marketing and sales, and details of where they will be can be found on their blog.
Joules produces clothing for all ages and their collections start with a range of baby wear for kids up to three years old. This includes hats, bibs, baby grows, shorts, dresses, and coats.
They also have a range of clothing and accessories for boys and girls that runs from outerwear such as coats and jackets to rugby shirts, jumpers, swimwear, sweatshirts, and jewellery. It includes everything needed to dress a child in a colourful and stylish outfit.
The collections for men and women similarly have an extensive range of selections so that adults of all ages can fit themselves out from head to toe in some of the stylish prints and patterns that Joules is known for. Browsing online, meeting up with them at a show, or visiting one of their stores provides the chance to get your hands on some stylish fashion that will have you looking your best.
Joules also produces accessories for the home and garden. This is aimed at a number of areas of a property, and includes sheets and duvets for the bedroom, mugs and crockery for the kitchen, towels for the bathroom, and seats and watering cans for the garden.
You can take your pick from some great items at Joules to kit out yourself and your home in some vibrant colours.
