About Haven Holidays

Haven Holidays was founded in 1964, with the company now owning and operating 35 award-winning family holiday parks throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Each park is situated to some of Britain’s stunning beaches and liveliest resorts. The company provides good value family breaks to over 2.4 million holidaymakers every year.

The company has now established itself as Britain’s largest provider of domestic holidays with family holiday parks around the UK, all offering fun activities, kids’ clubs and entertainment at no extra cost. Their parks’ boast comfortable accommodation and a varied range of leisure activities.

Haven Holidays is part of Bourne Leisure Ltd, the largest privately owned holiday operator in the UK. They also own Warner Leisure Hotels and Butlins Resorts. The hugely successful business acquired the Rank Group Holidays Division in 2000. This merging included the Haven brand.

As a result of adding Haven Holidays to the Bourne Leisure brand, they were able to greatly develop the choice of quality parks and locations available. The investment provided new accommodation, landscaping, Spas, golf courses, adventure golf and most recently enhancing some of the leisure pools with flumes, slides and Space Bowls.

Haven Holidays has picked up countless prestigious awards. Recent highlights saw them named in the British Travel Awards 2012 as the winner of Best UK Holiday Park Operator and Best Large Camping and mobile Tour Operator. A year later, they were named Best Large Holiday Company – Camping and Mobile. The British Travel Awards are highly regarded within the travel industry as they set a benchmark for excellence when customers need help deciding who to book their holiday with.

Haven was also awarded with the 2012 Travel Bulletin Holiday Parks Operator of the year award, and for two years in a row they have been awarded Best Domestic Operator of the Year at the TTG Travel awards. At the 2013 awards, they picked up the Travel Company of the Year award. All of their parks hold Conservation Awards.

Bringing pets on your holiday

Not keen on leaving your prized pooch at home or in a kennels? Haven welcome well-trained dogs in selected holiday homes and on some of their pitches. However this will come with an additional charge. Pets in holiday homes will be charged at £20 per pet for 5 nights or fewer and £40 per pet for 7, 7 or 8 night breaks. 

Don't panic if you're worried about leaving Lizzy the lizard or Fred the fish, you can contact the general manager of the park you're planning on staying in to see if they're ok with other pets staying on their park. Registered Assistance Dogs are accepted in all of the Haven holiday homes and in all areas of their parks.
