On the Beach are a UK-based travel retailer, founded by Simon Cooper in 2004. The company specialises in short and medium haul holiday's to Europe, perfect for holiday goers looking for sun, sand and sea.

In 1995, Cooper began his ventures into the travel industry with a budget-friendly ski holiday company, On the Piste. Beginning with offering cheap trips via coaches to the French Alps, the company developed over time. This lead to the sale of On the Piste to Thomson’s in the 2008.

Cooper then put all of his efforts into On the Beach, expanding the business and investing money into Resort Taxis to assist with flight transfers in Egypt, Turkey, the Balearics, The Canaries, mainland Spain, Greece and the Algarve. In 2012, the Resort Taxis business was rebranded as On the Beach Transfers.

On the Beach sends 750,000 happy holiday makers on their travels every year. Their holidays aren’t package holidays, they rather offer a choice of flights or hotels sold on their own or together. This opens up 50 million available flight seats and more than 30,000 hotels around the world.
