Discounted Tours through Shearings

Sometimes booking a holiday can seem a lot of work. Finding somewhere to go, picking the best agent to book with, finding the best deal to save money. Not just so you can save money on the holiday itself but also for your spending money! If you are interested in Escorted Tours, we can take two of those decisions off your shoulders.

Money Saving Heroes work with many of the best travel agents online, all with their own unique selling point and destination portfolio. Escorted tours have been getting increasingly more popular over the past couple years, especially for themed or seasonal breaks.

If this is the style holiday that you are looking for, Shearings are the company who we would recommend. They provide fantastic tours throughout the UK and Europe, keeping their packages varied to suit all needs and styles. To help save money on these tours and breaks, you can use one of the many incredible offers and voucher codes found on Money Saving Heroes.

Another great thing about the selection of Shearings breaks on offer is that they can vary drastically in length. Short breaks are great for shopping and site-seeing, whereas the bigger ‘Grand Tours can last for as long as 17 days taking you to numerous drop off points all around Europe.

The best way to get some inspiration on your next trip is to go through their booking process and see what options come up. Simply enter your ideal departure location, dates that work for you, a required destination and whether you want to do half board or not.

Save yourself some extra pennies by visiting Money Saving Heroes for the latest Shearings offers and use our handy ‘How to guide’ below.

Check out the history of Shearings, so you can get an idea of what the company is about and how they operate.

Shearings has been operating for the past 114 years, providing holidays to their customers and updating their destination list to suit the ever evolving need to travel.

They were based in Oldham and started by Herbert Shearing in 1919. Shearing then took over Eniway Motor Tours in 1935, who offered coach transport from London and Manchester. When he retired the two companies (Manchester and Oldham) were then sold to James Robinson, who owned Happiway Tours.

Robinson decided to sell Happiways, but keep Shearings Oldham LTD and Shearings Manchester LTD, and combine the two as Shearings Holidays, before, in 1964 then selling to the Jackson Family who lived in Altrincham.

Pleasureways were purchased by Jackson in 1955, and combined with Shearings to create Shearings-Pleasureways-Ribblesdale, luckily time has evolved to finally naming the company back to Shearings Holidays once more in 1982.

The company has grown to now own over 240 coaches and visiting more than 170 destinations, proving why they are the UKs largest tour operator of this nature.
